Privacy policy

How I handle personal data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679).

1. Who is responsible

The controller of your personal data is Mgr. Inna Macháč Guba, Company ID (IČO) 03660656, Šumice 103, 671 75 Šumice, Czech Republic. You can reach me at innaguba@seznam.cz or +420 774 547 333.

2. What data I process

  • When you write to me: your name, e-mail address, phone number if you give it, and the content of your messages.
  • When we work together: the details needed for the project, the contract and the invoice (name, company, address, company and VAT ID).
  • When you visit this website: technical data that the hosting provider records automatically, such as IP address, browser and time of the visit.

3. Why and on what legal basis

  • To answer your enquiry and prepare an offer (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, steps before a contract).
  • To carry out the project we agree on (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, performance of a contract).
  • To keep accounting and tax records (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR, legal obligation).
  • To run this website securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interest).

4. How long I keep it

I keep enquiries for as long as we are in contact and for up to 3 years afterwards. Invoices and accounting records are kept for 10 years, as required by Czech law. Then the data is deleted.

5. Who else processes data

  • GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc., USA): hosting of this website. Data may be transferred to the USA on the basis of the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
  • Seznam.cz (Czech Republic): my e-mail provider.

I do not sell your data or share it with anyone for marketing.

6. Cookies and tracking

This website does not use cookies, analytics or tracking tools. Fonts are loaded from this website itself, not from third-party servers.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict its processing, to data portability and to object to processing. Just write to me at innaguba@seznam.cz.

You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority: in the Czech Republic the Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.gov.cz), in Austria the Austrian Data Protection Authority (dsb.gv.at).
